Vin brulè – Glühwein – Mulled wine

Mulled wine is a delicious and delicious South Tyrolean drink, which should be served hot.
In the Aosta Valley, a similar preparation is served in the “Grolla dell’Amicizia” – Friendship Grolla, a wooden hand-carved container.

    750 ml South Tyrolean Schiava wine
    2 tablespoons of sugar
    ½ sprig of cinnamon
    5 Cloves
    ¼ orange peel from organic farming

Put the wine in a pan and cook it with the sugar, rind, and spices until just before boiling. Before serving, remove the cinnamon and cloves.
