• 500 g of wheat
• 100 g of candied citron
• 100 g candied orange
• 50 g sugar
• 1 cinnamon stick ground
• 4 tablespoons liquid honey
• 50 g dark chocolate
• 100 g walnuts
How to make the Grano dolce:
Wash the wheat after selecting it and leave to soak for two days, changing the water often. After this time, drain and boil for about an hour, occasionally stirring water and sugar.
Drain gather the wheat into a large bowl, perfume it sweetens it with cinnamon and honey, mixes well, then adds the chocolate when the grain is still warm so that it can melt.
Let cool, then stir in the chopped walnuts, candied citron, and orange reduced to pieces. Stir to blend ingredients.
Serve the sweet corn in individual bowls, decorate with fresh mint leaves and bits of candied fruit.
