Aosta Valley cuisine – Cucina della Valle d’Aosta

The cuisine of Aosta Valley is vibrant. However, it needs to warm up the diners and help them fight the cold winter climate.

It is very close to the territory’s traditions, going back to the Middle Ages when wild game consumption was the norm.

Today there is a great tradition of dining with visiting guests eating polenta accompanied by various gravies.

It’s a feast of the country. We are all around a lovely table set to celebrate the excellent season in summer.
